Pros
Shift Paradigm is my favorite company I've ever worked for. It's done a great job of hiring and retaining people who are genuine, hard working, well rounded and truly know their subject matter expertise areas and beyond. Getting the big picture is one of the biggest challenges for individuals within an agency/consultancy collective, each person helps bring this out or refine others outputs to get there. Pros - Actually competitive pay - Learn a lot in various directions quickly - Get an amazing amount of internal resources & support - Further your education and certifications while getting paid (Learn and Earn) - CEO who has experience in the space and has taken companies to the promised land before - Better structure than other agencies with Client Engagement Leads AND Project Managers instead of bundling into one like some agencies do
Cons
- Challenging projects that require a wealth of understanding and true consultant capabilities to document, analyze and solve major business problems (Not for fakers and noobs) - Private Equity owned, can be a pro or a con depending on what's happening - Organizational identity and SOP's are influx depending on the lines of business or projects after significant mergers that are still working themselves out - Some volatility in general in the agency, consultancy and services space in general can create some challenges for anyone operating in this space in 2023
