Pros

100% employee healthcare covered by the company Unlimited PTO after the first year Free snacks, drinks, and beer in the kitchen They now offer paternity leave. 401k after a year of employment. Agency culture: tournaments, contests, outings, and happy hours Some of the employees are genuinely the nicest people you will ever meet.

Cons

Upper management has no idea what they are doing. Stubborn and unreceptive to constructive criticism. Ego gets in the way of making any real strides toward change. Managers have been there a long time, which in this case has caused stagnancy and staleness. Portfolio is misleading. Day to day work is mostly pharmaceuticals work, and most ‘awards’ won are the product of the creative director, not the agency. The day-to-day creative work therefore can be very tedious and boring. Strong creative concepts are frequently killed by upper management without explanation. This can be frustrating for employees who work hard only to have their work torn apart without feedback or opportunities to learn. About a decade behind on best practices and digital media. The company does not use industry standard softwares for web/digital media. No employees are trained — leading to interdepartmental strain and general lack of respect for others’ roles. Definite boys club. Strong women have a history of leaving due to management. VERY LITTLE room to grow. Promotions are rare except in upper management. Jacksonville office’s elevators are always broken.
