Wild Wild West environment. Leadership does not believe in or use standard processes or practices. Unwilling to make the necessary investments in infrastructure to move become a big boy company. They do not readily take advice or recommendations from mid level management. Only a small group of 3-4 leaders are empowered to make decisions and they still need M&M approvals. Daily / weekly reset of priorities. Drives most Hi-Po professionals out with in 12-18 months. Staff is expected to work 12-16 hour days during the NPD cycle. No work/life balance in any group.
