Pros
The team is wonderful. It's a very positive work environment and the team genuinely looks out for one another. The culture is really strong and they work hard to make sure it's woven throughout all aspects of working here. It's also a very celebratory culture.. be prepared to receive recognition for your work and be called out for your wins. It is a WE culture. So that means that you didn't win big for a client, WE did, you didn't fail or drop the ball, WE did. It's a complete comfort to have the we mentality. Leadership is fast to step in and support in the wake up hiccups, mistakes, issues on accounts and do not play the blame game on head mistakes. Not an agency where you will be micromanaged. Once trust is established and you prove your ability/competency, you will not be micromanaged. Generous with PTO and really do not deny requests when you are an employee that gets their work done and doesn't abuse time off. They care about work-life balance, encourage you to take your days and try to respect people's boundaries outside of working hours. They encourage people to grow their families and want people to be able to manage both. Leadership. The leaderships is so great. My boss is the best boss I have ever had. They pour into you professionally, and they care about the person that you are and where you want to go in life. They are always looking to grow you, raise you up and push you. They invest in you. They also listen; they hear you and you can see change being made when you voice concerns, even if it might take a while.
Cons
- It's a small agency and it's growing FAST. It comes with the same waves that come with any growing agency. - Work load can be heavy, but tends to be seasonal. - Transition/turnover can be regular. It's a completely normal level of turnover in this industry, but with the job market the way it is, roles can be hard to fill and you may feel that in the interim.
