Pros

Competitive pay and alot of PTO (but who has time to take PTO?) Benefits OK

Cons

Sedgwick works you to death. They hire people with no experience and they give them no training. They put you on a desk and you fend for yourself. OT is not an option. It is a must or you won't survive. You do "whatever it takes to get the job done." God forbid you take a day off or have a family member die. Nobody can do your work as everyone is too busy. Vacations are not vacations as you end up working. They hire management people with the worst people skills. The best and most qualified workers are never made supervisors as they can't be replaced. If you are a moderate worker and have a nasty personality then you can be a manager. There is no work/life balance. Sedgwick is too busy buying every company they can and cann't afford it unless they cut benefits. Every department is understaffed. It is sweat shop. When they hire incompetent people instead of firing them when they screw up they keep them. There are so many young lazy people that don't have a work ethic. Sedgwick thinks that "jeans" days are a bonus to the employee. A real bonus would be recognizing those employees who have worked 50 hours a week for over 10 years and put the company over family, by giving them money. Gift cards are a joke as you get taxed on them. Sedgwick has a really bad reputation

Pros

The benefits are okay I suppose but they'll deduct your PTO from your severance pay. It's basically a ripoff loan.

Cons

-Constant harassment and hounding from Team Leads. -Unrealistic expectations for case load productivity. Mind you, the maximum expected amount of diaries to be completed is 80+. You're expected to make and take calls while also juggling case notes, emails, and Teams messages that pull you away from your current task. And the workload is moved constantly, regardless of an employee is absent, tardy, or even still present despite being heavy across the board. But you're expected to finish it all "productively" within 8 hours. No overtime and minimal assistance. -Good audit scores don't matter. You could have 98% to 100% , leadership will burn you for missing a few notes or if you're behind on other people's work while also being behind on yours. They say they're understaffed but they refuse to hire more people unless it's your replacement. -You're practically working on a sinking ship.
