Pros

- Small company, so it is easy to network and build connections

Cons

- Leadership will not back you up on anything. In fact, they will actively search for ways to punish you irrespective of your performance - Human Resources does not understand either employment law or how to treat people decently. - Benefits have been cut. Do not come here expecting not to pay out of pocket for health insurance. - Little opportunity to grow. Leadership will dangle promotions in your face but there is no follow-through. - Toxic work environment. Customer Support's staff moral especially is at an all-time low. The department is the laughing stock of the company. - Remote options have been taken away, and you must be meeting ridiculous and purposefully unattainable requirements to get a few days hybrid. - Supervisors are unable to give their direct reports the salary increases they have earned. No matter how much justification you provide, Leadership and HR will always force you to give a worse review than you think is fitting so they can pay people less. - Employees that have advocated for themselves in cases like being unpaid for valid overtime have been terminated. - The C-Suite truly has no idea what is happening in their company because they do not interact with the frontlines in a real way. They take for granted what their VPs tell them.

Pros

Welcoming and clean environment. The office is nice and you don't have to be afraid to ask questions. On the smaller side so everyone can make an impact.

Cons

I didn't really experience anything I didn't like while working here

Pros

Co-workers were great to work with. Most were very intelligent, hard-working and eager to lend a hand.

Cons

Company hired workers on the promise of remote work. I worked remotely for 4 years and when the decision was made to make everyone come in person, we were told we could either commute 2-6 hours each way (depending on our current home location), move to Ormond Beach or we would not have a job. It did not matter if you were a high performer, it did not matter how well you did your job. It only mattered that they decided it would improve morale and slow down staff turnover if they forced us all in-person. Jokes on them, more than 60 % of staff counsel has resigned in the last 2 months since their announcement. Raises have dropped dramatically over the last 4 years, with many high-performing staff being denied raises this year, even as the C-Suite execs bragged about having one of their most profitable years ever. People who DID receive raises received 1-2% raises. Management of staff legal was extremely toxic, with management harassing anyone they didn't like, including calling staff's previous employers after they had been working at Security First for years seeking out scuttlebutt and gossip to spread. When concerns were elevated to HR, retaliation was wide-spread and unchecked.
