Pros

Projects tend to be pretty interesting, at least in engineering, and are a good mix of new stuff from the ground up and modifications or improvements of existing stuff. Seattle safety is a small company so there are a lot of opportunities to be involved in the entire design process from concept to production and installation, and usually for entire systems not just components. Its a good place for people who like to be hands-on to some extent and work on lots of different things. Flexibility and work life balance tend to be pretty good. And management has been actively trying to make it a better place to work.

Cons

A lot of times feels like there is constant level of craziness, and a general lack of organization and process.

Seattle Safety is an entrepreneurial company that has grown primarily through new product development, so it is true that processes and organizational structure has not always kept up. However, the company is implementing an documentation management system and focusing on process standardization.
