Changes in policies and procedures, and some upper management at store level, make it a horrible place to work. - Merchandising Pricing Lead Sears Employee Review

Pros

If you're willing to put up with all the crap and put your heart and soul into it, you used to be able to climb the ladder. Not sure if that's still the case as they're changing everything, again. If you're in management, even at a supervisory level, you get great pay.

Cons

Sears cannot leave well enough alone. They continue to try and change things around, even re-trying things that have failed in the past. The local store is bleeding talent due to all the silly changes and the new attitudes taken on by management. Especially by one manager who feels the need to harrass people to the point of them crying daily until they leave.

Pros

Good team and good compensation

Cons

The contract is only for 30 days, so it needs to be renewed every month, and we always lose access during the process. This creates some uncertainty for us.
