Pros

Id like to preface this by saying, I am not mad at the people I mention or the company, I wouldn't normal even take the time to leave a review, but this was wrong, and it looks like they've done this over and over. I worked along side some very nice people. Just like any company, there are good people everywhere. However, in my short 6 weeks there I watched 5 people leave from various departments. And I was told that even more had already left prior to me coming on. Also, the tool itself is a great tool, and its 'word of mouth' popularity is whats carrying the company. With the right upper management, they would easily double their yearly revenue.

Cons

If you look at 95% of the other reviews you can obviously see this is a terrible company. I had no formal training whatsoever. I had no direct sales manager because he quit. I was split between the CEO and the person below him, and they often contradicted one another in the information I was given. My quota seemed to have been drawn from thin air, because my "ramp" was set at 30K higher than what my counter part achieved in the same Q the year before with over a year of experience under her belt. They dont follow what they have written in their own employee handbook. I was told I was being fired for violating their standard operating procedure, however I was never taught their stand operating procedure. Someone wrote "its a sinking ship" and honestly they will probably will be fine because the tool is a really good tool. But the quality of management (2 individuals specifically, and they know who they are) is just horrendous. I could see them reading this and laughing, but for all these people that have been laid off or fired like myself under odd circumstances, it is really detrimental to their lives, and I dont get the feeling that they even remotely care about that. So it is basically a 'people last' type of company.

Pros

The CS team has been great so far. A good amount of us are new, but we have been making tons of progress and learning a lot. When a few of us were hired, it was right around the start of renewal season, so it was fast and felt a little over whleming, but our leadership team was extremely supportive. Our team genuinely gets along and support each other.

Cons

Fast paced, sometimes communications get lost due to how fast, but our director and VP do a good job of informing us.

Pros

The only good thing about this company was the people who worked here and at this point, most of them have all left because of the toxic culture.

Cons

The CEO micromanages every person and project to feed his need for control, despite having no real understanding of the edtech landscape or how schools operate. He lacks empathy and makes impulsive decisions without data or rationale. Employee well-being is not a priority. ICs are treated as dispensable. Turnover is high across the board: ICs are leaving in droves, and even leadership has begun to exit due to the unhealthy work environment. As more employees left, remaining staff were expected to take on more work with no additional compensation. Benefits were continually stripped away, and morale continued to decline. The CEO consistently over-promises and under-delivers to customers to chase revenue, regardless of the damage it causes to relationships or long-term trust. I witnessed this firsthand. It’s demoralizing for both employees and customers. Leadership openly gossips about individual contributors and speaks unprofessionally about team members. The culture is toxic, lacking in respect, transparency, and integrity. The CEO is also deeply hypocritical. He insists on hiring only in the Chicagoland area to mandate three days a week in-office, while at the same time outsourcing work overseas for cheap labor rather than backfilling roles. It’s clear the in-office policy isn’t about collaboration, it’s about control. Finally, there is no strategic direction. We’ve pivoted multiple times—from focusing on education, to corporate, back to education, and now trying to rebuild corporate momentum again—all under the erratic leadership of the CEO. It’s chaos, and the company is spiraling as a result. Cannot recommend enough to avoid this company at all costs.
