Pros
The best, most dedicated colleagues you could ever work with. Great internal training opportunities (big up L&D) Head Office is nice.
Cons
So many, unfortunately. As many of these reviews state, there have been some redundancies recently, which has left a bad taste in many people’s mouths. I can only really speak for how my team was impacted during this time and the time leading up to April 2025, but the slight shifts towards this ‘new way of working’ started happening before that and our delivery changed significantly, and it felt like it was no longer serving disabled people and became about data rather than the individuals we supported, and gradually the offerings became fewer and fewer. I don’t think anybody really understands the new strategy, or what ‘new ways of working’ really is except ‘work smarter, not harder’ which seems to be to make people from the ground up redundant…doesn’t really make sense. While there are so called open spaces for discussion with bi-weekly broadcasts and monthly Q&A sessions which have more politician answers than ‘Question Time’, colleagues are not listened to. I had some issues with line management and spoke openly about it before making the decision to leave. I felt heard but don’t feel like anything has or will be done with that. It feels like Scope is being run into the void of ambiguity which is a crying shame because its reputation used to be top notch.
