Pros

They are profitable and have a Global reach

Cons

They pride themselves on that they develop their people but in actual fact employees dont have time to attend training as the workload dont allow them to. People are thrown into the deep end with high expectations and demands but no support is given on how to navigate their systems and use tools available. Policies are for window dressing only and not enforced or supported by the culture. Old age people practices are in place driven by key management role players who are not in support of modern practises supporting a healthy culture.. people work 20 hour days and it is applauded and expected as the norm. Do not be fooled by policies in place as it is not rolled out. If you want any sort of balanced life, this place will not help you achieve it.

Pros

-Decent entry level pay for newly graduated mechanical engineer as a reliability engineer -Operations-Maintenance coordination has some improvements, not sure if they will stick

Cons

-Cloquet mill is very disorganized and chaotic -Near constant reactive "firefighting" operations -Maintenance department is not treated as a partner, but rather as a servant -Training in maintenance is a joke
