Pros
There are good people at SP. Due to good pay scales, they manage to land some really top notch workers and technologists. 1 or 2 middle managers were also quite good.
Cons
Zero "atta-boy" or remunerative rewards for extra effort. Employees and contractors are kept in the dark until the last minute about decisions long since made by management. Management frequently vetoes best practices and best technologies recommended by the good folks working for them, and then comes up with tons of money at the end of almost every year that they squander on equipment that does nothing for the experts in the trenches.
