Pros

You get a paycheck. The best aspect is that I don't work there anymore.

Cons

Dan Morris is the most unethical and misogynistic person I have ever worked for, perhaps even met in my whole life. He tried to show off by telling me how pretty the new lady he hired was. He also asked if I had "happy endings" when I told him I get monthly massages. As a married man, this made me feel extremely uncomfortable. He was married too, so I'm not sure why he was talking about how pretty his employees are and sexually provocative things, but it was incredibly inappropriate, unprofessional, and I am not an attorney but it seems like the latter could even be illegal. I was fired before the three-month mark and was told it was because of my performance. However, I did nearly break a record with my first placement. I was extremely confused by this, especially considering I was told that I would have ample time to learn and have close mentorship as my career developed. They made me agree to take down the review I wrote 2 years ago to be released from my DNC so I apologize to anyone who was hired in the last 2 years that experienced this as well. Despite management knowing that I have a family to support they hired and fired me, for what I consider to be without cause, before I had even worked there for 90 days. Since I saw a review explaining a story similar to what I am telling you about, I asked specifically if I would have the time to learn and grow into my career, and I was flat-out lied to. I would have never accepted this position had I known how unethical and volatile this company is. Recovering from taking this job has been an enormous struggle for my family, both fiscally and emotionally, and are still working to get back to where we were before. This is easily the most unethical company I have ever worked for. The owners are brothers who care about themselves so much more than their employees that it is palpable. The experience was so terrible that I made a point to come back here to leave a review when my DNC expired because I felt obligated to warn people about SalesFirst Recruiting.

SalesFirst Recruiting Response

I’m Adam, the brother of Dan and the CEO of this company. As with most reviews, things are rarely as glowing as the best reviews suggest, and rarely as bad as the worst ones claim. While this review contains serious and, in our view, unfair character attacks, we won’t dismiss the underlying emotion behind it. To speak candidly, this review doesn't align with the experiences or feedback we've received from the rest of our team- many of whom are women and have been with us for years. Still, we're not perfect. We make mistakes, we learn, and we grow from them. But personal attacks and character defamation help no one and don’t reflect the kind of dialogue we aim to encourage. Dan is a good leader, a good husband, a good dad, and a good brother. -Adam

Pros

I had the pleasure of working at SalesFirst for over a year and felt consistently supported, even while working remotely. Adam stands out as a leader who genuinely invests in his team—he takes the time to understand his employees both professionally and personally. When I faced challenges, he provided one-on-one training and encouraged me in ways that helped me grow and succeed. His deep industry knowledge and commitment to innovation, especially in technology and AI, made the work environment dynamic and forward-thinking. Even after transitioning into an internal recruiter role, the team remained engaged with me and my placements, allowing for a smooth and positive departure. SalesFirst is an exceptional company that truly values its employees, candidates, and clients.

Cons

Sales recruiting can be challenging and isn’t the right fit for everyone—it requires resilience and persistence. However, the management team makes a genuine effort to provide support and guidance whenever possible, helping employees navigate the demands of the role.

Pros

I really like the people I work with. I really like the autonomy and the support you get. It's easy to take time off when needed. Most years I make really good money.

Cons

Each year feels different from the last with all the changes in the economy.
