We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your feedback and we're sorry your experience, currently, isn't the most positive one you could have, It is great to know that our hybrid working culture and our focus on internal talent development are reasons you continue to stay with Sage but we've also taken note of the areas that you feel need improving. We have been giving our colleagues more responsibility as a way of further enhancing their career development however, as part of our reward strategy and our culture of high performance, good work shall not go unnoticed. We are working to become more transparent with our communications and we welcome any further suggestions around how best to go about doing this. Please reach out to us internally through your leader or you could send us an email at colleague.engagement@sage.com if you have thoughts you'd like to share in this regard. Thanks again for your review and please keep speaking up both here and internally.

Pros

was hired as remote and get to have that honored, but have been openly told no career progression because of remote status. decent pay

Cons

Leadership instability: Seven manager changes during my relatively short tenure. Unrealistic targets: A sales quota set at 1,100% growth (not a typo). Slow product development: Getting anything actioned on the product side takes far too long. Product management turnover: Three product manager changes, resulting in no meaningful deliverables in over three years. Misaligned hiring priorities: Greater emphasis on DEI optics than on hiring people positioned to drive growth. Internal vs. customer focus: More energy spent on internal events than on product enhancements. Lack of accountability (the biggest issue): No one takes ownership. Responsibility gets passed around constantly — for example, client cancellations going unprocessed because they impact someone's numbers. Managers have openly encouraged pushing the work onto someone else rather than handling it.
