Pros

Where to Start, from day one you feel part of the Sage family. right from the top the communication is clear. you will never be in the dark. as well as a fantastic salary, you will also review unrivaled benefits inc, healthcare package, discounts off thousands of retailers, salary sacrifice, save and share schemes and many more. the development opportunities are great. amazing on site facilities, range from cafe's to on site gym to the little things like secure onsite parking. Sage Foundation is also another bonus. you get 5 volunteer days to use each year and the choice is your on what you do with them, from helping customer with innovative payroll and accountancy solution, to giving back to the community, what more could you want

Cons

Thanks for your feedback about Sage. Really fantastic to hear why you clearly love working at Sage! The title of your review is so true, you are certainly never bored here. The Foundation gives colleagues a great opportunity to give back to charity, and with the backing from Sage it shows we not only care about our people, but our wider-community too - oh, and of course our customers. Thanks again for your feedback and keep loving #LifeatSage !

Pros

was hired as remote and get to have that honored, but have been openly told no career progression because of remote status. decent pay

Cons

Leadership instability: Seven manager changes during my relatively short tenure. Unrealistic targets: A sales quota set at 1,100% growth (not a typo). Slow product development: Getting anything actioned on the product side takes far too long. Product management turnover: Three product manager changes, resulting in no meaningful deliverables in over three years. Misaligned hiring priorities: Greater emphasis on DEI optics than on hiring people positioned to drive growth. Internal vs. customer focus: More energy spent on internal events than on product enhancements. Lack of accountability (the biggest issue): No one takes ownership. Responsibility gets passed around constantly — for example, client cancellations going unprocessed because they impact someone's numbers. Managers have openly encouraged pushing the work onto someone else rather than handling it.
