      Pros

      Wonderful professional atmosphere. Coworkers were great, management was very caring.

      Cons

      Very small government contractor (about 30 some employees) with work that isn't terribly exciting or dynamic. There isn't much opportunity to advance up the ranks, because there aren't many ranks. A person might want to work here for a few years then move on to a bigger firm.

      Pros

      I worked at Sage for seven years and the experience was great. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and competent; management is very understanding and flexible so long as you keep them appraised of your situation; I got a straightforward and fair yearly evaluation and an annual raise. They also permit remote work — and in fact did so before COVID made it common — and offer a 5% 401k match.

      Cons

      Only one health insurance option, but it was not too expensive.
