Pros

- The Team - The Work is pretty interesting + consistent - Free team lunch every day - Company is growing significantly year over year - Company outings incl. happy hours - simpleIRA matching contributions - Benefits are pretty ok - Management is relatively transparent

Cons

- Pay is consistently below market rates - Raises are minuscule and do not reflect work put in by individual - Management team is either completely disengaged or too engaged with day to day - Too much emphasis on "process" and not enough appreciation for excellent client service - Chaotic management structure leads to team confusion - Lack of accountability by MGMT team for dysfunction on the team - Onboarding is a nightmare for new employees and does not reflect current practices - New work is approved/signed/scheduled with limited regard to current team allocations - Limited respect for work/life balance - No respect for vacation time

Pros

They are easy to interview with- they hire based on if they like In case you’re uncertain about your past activities, refer to the timesheet you’re required to complete every 15 minutes during the 9-hour workday. If you forget to fill it out, you’re out of luck, you’ll have to go back and update it. You can work from home and never have to be with management in person.

Cons

The company's small size results in unqualified family members occupying director roles, leading to issues of dishonesty and deception. Lack of training is evident, followed by ridicule for not being up to speed. The constant micromanagement, outdated SAAS tools, and being held accountable for team mistakes and a faulty customer tool contribute to a challenging work environment. Unfortunately, speaking up risks termination, fostering a culture of everyone over-pretending to be happy at work. It’s by far the worst job in my 15 year career.
