Career path blocked by location - Hardware Development Engineer Rockwell Automation Employee Review

Small offices have minimal career advancement opportunity unless relocating or lateral moves are an option. My own progress and team has been dwindling for years and even though this small team creates the majority of the businesses profit, the direction of the business is being taken elsewhere. This leads to removing well-needed resources from out team and rebaselining our headcount.
