Pros
Good salary with benefits, nice campus that's not too big, and lots of amenities (Cafeteria, gym, social events, dinners to go). People are friendly and retires and ex-employess often come back to visit. Many people with 30+ yrs at company.
Cons
Since Roche brought out Genentech, the environment has become less secure and friendly. The seat of power in the US is now at Genentech in San Francisco.
