Pros

Robert Half gave me the chance to work full-time while engaging with multiple clients across industries. This model fueled my love for learning, variety, and professional growth. The pay was fair, the flexibility of remote work was valuable, and I appreciated the opportunities to build new skills.

Cons

Each new engagement required a client interview and selection process, which sometimes created gaps between assignments. When projects slowed, being “on the bench” meant uncertainty. After 2.5 years and multiple client roles, I was laid off due to lack of work.

Pros

I had a great experience working with Robert Half. The team made the process of working with the client seamless and was always responsive, professional, and supportive throughout the assignment. The client was also great to work with, and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I would be happy to work with Robert Half again on another client engagement.

Pros

Success with other departments - just not in mine

Cons

Complete bait and switch. I accepted this position under one manager, only to find out after resigning from my previous job that I would be reporting to someone else entirely. There was no meaningful onboarding, no training materials, and no support system in place. My manager openly stated that there was no monetary value in helping me succeed and made little effort to train or develop me. Requests to shadow and learn the business were dismissed in favor of keeping me on the phones. Instead of being set up for success, I felt actively prevented from growing. HR was equally disappointing. I raised legitimate concerns and never received a response. The organization talks about development and support, but my experience suggested otherwise. Joining this company was one of the biggest professional mistakes I have made.
