Recently went through a background check for a potential interview/job with The Creative Group. I was upfront and honest about my background because of a mistake I made a few years ago on a previous app with them. The Manager brought this up to me before we started the process and I talked with her and cleared up the mistake and thought it was fixed. Went through the application process and decided, along with the recruiter, that it would be better, to be honest about a 20-year old misdemeanor than not. LOL! After meeting the recruiter and told what the job was, I was rejected from being represented by The Creative Group. I have never been denied a job offer because of my background! This on top of their crappy practices just goes to show The Creative Group doesn't want to rep quality experienced candidates no matter their background.
