Pros
Robert Half is a good company, and I think when it started there was good work ethic and business rapport... once you get to new hire training, and meet trainers/successful account managers/recruiter it is great, you feel that "fire in your belly" to go to work and do well. It only takes a few awful people to ruin your experience and career.
Cons
... all goes downhill when you hire unprofessional sales people/immature management. After many years of working with this company, I have learned so much, you have to be cautious if you're looking for a new job, or they will make you quit, (I say that, because they will make your days working there miserable until you leave...very sad really...I have seen it happen to many) And when you leave, all they do is joke and talk poorly of anyone who left, whether they pretended to like you or not. LONG HOURS- 8A-6P, but let's be serious, you come in right at 8AM, you're late, you leave right at 6PM, your looked at with death stares... There are some people who will bully, make you feel worthless, and if you go to management to express your concerns or share in confidence your issues you are having, they will go around you and tell the person you are having issues with. Also, upper management will ask you to spy on some other peers when they aren't in the office... makes you feel uncomfortable and puts you in a hard place. If you listen and tell them what they want to hear-kudos, your best friends, if you don't want to throw people under the bus... well watch your back, they will find a way to ruin your trust in anyone. They wonder why turnover is so high... and good luck finding "HR", that is a running joke in the office... the hotline isn't any better, it isn't truly anonymous. Management will also tell you not to pay a contract employee what they deserve so the company and account manager makes more money, and won't let the contract employee go permanent with the company they are temping for because they don't want to lose money. VERY UNETHICAL
