Pros

Historically the Leader in Heavy Equipment Consignments / Auctions. There are some great folks in local operations that work hard to execute successful auction events. At the time I was employed Territory Managers were viewed as a value add asset. Best business model in the industry for Live/On site Auctions

Cons

When you read the reviews that highlight how bad local / middle sales management is DO NOT discount these statements. When you read how the salaries are well below market values DO NOT discount these statements. When you read that there is a culture that encourages nepotism / favoritism by local sales management DO NOT discount these statements. When you see how many open territory sales manager jobs there are listed at the RBA website and on job boards it is because the current culture and local sales management have driven away talented sales professionals. It is not because they are adding to the existing sales force. The current CEO is applying his retail mentality of making the employees cover more accounts with less resources. The company no longer views the employees as their biggest asset and sets them aside in the interest of shareholder satisfaction.
