Rexel was the parent company of Platt Electric and had a large footprint in the Electrical and Lighting Distribution market across the USA. It has a broad reach with local manufacturers and global partners. The management seeks to promote from within.
Cons
The company needs to update and upgrade their website to allow customers to find specific items they need and also be able to purchase it with ease. The website is not easy to navigate and there are many hoops potential customers must jump through in order to place an order. The availability of items was also an issue usually accompanied with longer lead times than their comptetitors.
