Favoritism runs deep, and eyes wide open for treatment to junior staff - Financial Analyst Rexel Group Employee Review

Pros

Few good people but that’s everywhere, so not a pro. The only reason I’m here still is because of my direct coworkers, economy and what’s going on in the country right now aside

Cons

I have observed favoritism that I strongly believe is tied to cultural similarities between management and the people they hire. Among this, I believe that salary, PTO amounts, treatment, and work levels are associated with these cultural similarities. It is very hard to be a young person at this company in Dallas. The finance department is toxic. I have been thrown under the bus even for minor things by mid level executives numerous times, and it is not uncommon for voices to be raised at the junior staff. This has continued despite bringing it to the direct managers’ attention in each of these cases. Note: Glassdoor alleged that my review contained “a malicious or defamatory personal attack,” so I have altered the wording to be more sensitive.
