Pros

None that I can even think of

Cons

Horribly run facility new management every 6 months, a shift supervisor that would roll on anyone in a heartbeat and the one guy that became an operator, fumigated and try's to get everyone fired and backstab everyone that comes in contact with him, should of been let go 20 yrs ago, 150 percent turnover, horrible working conditions, mountains of overtime and zero way out of that every time. Overall not a great experience should have unknown the reviews on this place were all true, new operators every month a high paying job and seriously can't keep anyone and there is a reason for it

Pros

The shift supervisor role consists of busy days with a lot of varying priorities. You are responsible for emissions regulation, work permits, specialized permits, managing changing plant conditions, and administrative personnel requirements. This can be a high-octane role but has a more relaxed period on night shift and when outages aren't occurring (planned shutdowns for maintenance). Expect to drive plant performance and employee development. Many opportunities for professional and personal development if you put the time in.

Cons

The plant culture will play a huge role in your quality of life, since most of your time will be at the plant. This can be good or bad. Quite a few managers do not engage or develop personnel due to various qualities. You will have to do the leg work in fostering a change for personnel development.
