Waste can indeed be dirty – which is why we go to great lengths to ensure that our handling of it is done with the utmost health and safety in mind. Thank you for taking the time to post. We understand that transitions can be challenging - however, we’re proud that all employees previously with Reworld™ at Burnaby were retained by the new contractor, ensuring continuity of employment for the team. Regarding the concern raised about vacation pay, we can confirm that all accrued vacation pay was processed and paid out in accordance with local employment laws and contractual obligations. We took care to ensure full compliance with all wage and benefit requirements during the transition. At this point, any ongoing employment-related matters at the Burnaby facility fall under the responsibility of the new contract holder. Again, we recognize that change can be difficult, and we remain committed to treating all employees and partners with respect and integrity. Thank you again.
