Pros
Love my Regional Manager...now. Had a pretty terrible one previously which did have a negative impact but not enough to leave at the time. Much better situation now. Extremely flexible schedule. You can work smarter not harder as long as you're hitting your budget. Restaurant owners are hard to cold call because they get hit up ALOT but once you get in with them, they are a fun group of prospects and clients. The restaurant scene is always changing and evolving. its a dynamic industry which makes the research and hunting aspects of the job fun. Going out to eat is part of your job. Its fun to give restaurant owners the funding they need to grow and improve. I believe our marketing is good for most restaurants so I can sell it.
Cons
I was told I could make 6 figures within my first 3 years when I was hired. I've consistently been a top performer and I'm stuck at $75k after 5 years. New commission structure isn't helping much. Other cons are standard b2b sales challenges....cold calling can be really defeating some days, people you thought were gonna buy will blow you off, having a quota hanging over your head can be stressful, and obviously you gotta hear a lot of no's between every yes. Not really Rewards Network specific problems there just standard sales gripes.
