Pros

They actually care about their employees. They invest in your growth, development, and career path. There is an old-fashioned sense of family, loyalty, and unity. There is no factionalism, everyone is working toward a common goal. Everyone works hard here---not just you. And the team supports one another. If you stumble, there is always someone there to pick you up. The biggest incentive to work here is the team. You just don't find that everywhere. It makes it easy to get up and go to work in the morning.

Cons

I won't sugar-coat it: It is fast-paced and very busy. It is the top lab in the world for fertility testing, and that fact means that their services are in high demand. Their status as the very best in the industry will give you bragging rights and it will boost your resume, but you will be earning those bragging rights on a daily basis. They pay more than everyone else, but there is seldom a lull in the action. It does however make the shifts fly by. The work week seems to just disappear.

Pros

The people in the lab are great. Good teamwork, lots of young people. Free snacks (almonds and cheese)

Cons

everything else. Let me be clear when I day this. Reprosource is one of the most disappointing, frustrating experience of my professional career. Many of the reviews have cited the CEO Ben leader as one of the main problems. When I went in for an interview, I thought the complete opposite. He'd like a shady salesman. He gives you this great speech about how everybody starts at x salary but you have the potential to earn bonuses by completing milestones! Sounds great however the reality is that in order for you to hit these milestones, you must work extremely long hours. In the end, you ask yourself is it really worth it? The extra hours spent on salary for a pittance of a bonus every few months? Absolutely not. If you're single, I'd highly recommend this job. Having no obligations gives you a great advantage. Also, if you work in the lab, the day doesn't start until fed ex shows up. Some days they come very late, which means regardless of what time you show up you're staying late to finish everything. This company is purely driven on getting as many samples processed as possible with no regards to the integrity of the samples. "say one thing, do another". Oh and have fun with the 38 security cameras that were recently installed, even in the break room.
