Pros

We are looking to provide a new, convenient method of car repair and maintenance - and so far the traction has been awesome. This is a chance to be part of growing a company and seeing the impact of your work every day. It's also a chance to be part of a team of smart, creative and fun people.

Cons

We are growing fast and the demands of work are high. There is also ambiguity as we build processes and procedures within the company, some degree of ability to deal with that is definitely required.

Pros

Hourly pay, flexible schedule, friendly management

Cons

Most of your time is spent driving from job to job with little to no preparation. Many jobs are not supported or ones that do your van is ill equipped to perform, owned by autonation, cost of benefits for employee and spouse are astronomical. You would be better off paying out of pocket for health insurance. Route management is absolutely atrocious. The only saving factor would be that some ops managers and dispatchers step in to make them make more logistical sense. Expectations for productivity are blatantly unrealistic. Never know when youre going to finish a day on time and if youre going to be chastized for OT. I was with this company for 2 years. And was constantly on edge. The final straw was when I found that I was going to pay 7200 a year for health insurance. Stay away from repair smith if you're anywhere near a decent flat rate technician. Stay away from autonation as a whole for that matter if you want a decent paycheck. FYI Joel is no longer CEO. He stepped down months ago.
