Pros
It’s been a week since I have joined RealPage and have been enjoying the online Induction from my team mates.Although my week’s experience itself has been warm and wonderful, what really amazed me was the way in which the organization had quickly adapted itself to the unprecedented Covid situation. I found RealPage’s positive approach to the crisis re-assuring, in comparison to so many other organizations that have been focusing on cost-cutting and layoffs. Through my team, I came to understand how proactive they have been in taking measures to support the employees:- > Quick turn-around time in ensuring from home for all staff globally. > Need of the hour amendments were made to the company’s current Medical Policy, by adding additional policy coverage for COVID, doctor-on-call and counseling support to employees by external agencies. > Investing in continuous learning and development, including sessions by our own Leaders to keep up the employees’ motivation and engagement. In fact, there have been around 70+ sessions by our leaders to have that connect with the team, which I believe is very much required during this pandemic. > And of course, lotsss of fun too, by the Miraki team, which was led by one of the Business Heads - it all happened virtually, and with good amount of participation. > Sessions by external agencies on parenting skills, work-life balance (as WFH+kids is quite stressful, sessions like these help working parents to cope) as well as on fitness. > Some fun and relaxation activities by our women associates (Women of Wisdom - WOW Team) And yes, the Leaders played a key role in all of this - as these initiatives have come from our own leaders like Sandeep & Rekha. Even in this pandemic situation, RealPage is hiring! They have been competently focusing on expanding their business and employee strength, while keeping our existing workforce happy and engaged with all these people-connect activities. I already feel lucky and proud to be part of this team!
