Pros

You can wear anything you want. Even crop-tops and sweatpants, apparently. Because no one does anything about anything here.

Cons

If you want to be treated like a red-headed stepchild, with insane work-life imbalance, no benefits you can use and NO HR IN THE BUILDING, this is the place for you! You'll be glad to know you come to work every day for a corporate office that acts like you're a burden, watch departments shrink in size and the workload poured onto you instead, and watch helplessly as the people who make everything worse are given more and more power and make terrible hiring and training decisions. This place has absolutely no standards. I'd love to know what is so great about working for Realpage. I'd love it if they showed us what it is to BE part of Realpage, because as far as I'm concerned, being "Realpage" is being served empty platitudes and high expectations.

Thank you for you post. Recently, the employees of Lombard took a pulse survey and I requested to see that data last week prior to seeing your post. We have some work to do. The fact that you took the time to give some advice means you truly care about what is going around you in the "work home". This survey data was also shared with your division leader last Friday. I expect some attention will be forthcoming on that front. In the short term, I will be sending some HR support to your location to hold some roundtables with employees that hopefully will help us in making this location stronger. There is a lot to like about working for RealPage, unfortunately this acquisition still has opportunity that will be addressed. Sincerely Kurt Twining

We also appreciate your perspective on the fast-paced environment. While we know it's not for everyone, it's great to hear that you find it energizing. Pros

Professionalism means building a workplace where fairness, merit, and respect matter more than favoritism and office politics.

Cons

RealPage may be a good company on the surface, but working in RUM software development was an absolute nightmare. From what I saw, promotions went only to white employees, favoritism ran the team, and toxic office politics mattered more than skill, fairness, or basic professionalism. The Senior Director was shockingly unqualified and created an environment where favorites were protected while capable people were pushed aside. I’m relieved my time there is over. What I still don’t understand is why RealPage allows such a hostile culture to exist, a culture where bad leadership thrives, politics beat merit, and the worst people are the ones rewarded.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We take concerns around fairness, respect, and leadership seriously, and your perspective matters. Since you’re a current employee, we encourage you to connect with your HR partner or another trusted member of the HR team so your concerns can be heard directly and looked into through the right channels. We want every employee to feel valued, supported, and treated fairly, and your feedback is helpful as we continue working toward that standard.
