Pros
1. Products seem relevant in the market place. 2. If you are in technology, then you will get to work with the latest technology and there is a lot of scope to learn. 3. Many of the employees at the lower level who do all the work are hard-working and talented.
Cons
1. Horrible management - they don't care about employees. They are only interested in increasing their own pay checks and creating fictional positions to get themselves promoted. Many in the management even lack basic courtesy towards fellow employees. Managers often lie to their direct reports to retain them. 2. No work-life balance. Management believes in sucking the last drop of blood and sweat you have remaining in your system. Company runs extremely thin on resources in key technology areas and employees are over-burdened and under-appreciated. 3. Extremely high attrition rate. Many people leave the company within couple of months of getting hired. The company keeps losing talented individuals at an alarming rate. 4. Politics are much thicker than most other places. 5. Company does not have any organic growth, bottom-line is declining. The growth numbers shown by the company are only maintained due to acquisitions. 6. Communication by management is not just bad; it's non-existent.
