Pros
The new CRO is very good at crafting scenarios where via parlor tricks, gets employees to divulge their approximate ages, then weighs that against compensation, and the increased profit margin by letting them go. Only top management positions are of any career longevity with any real comp plans among seasoned vets.
Cons
One person does not a publisher make for 3+ books. But if you cost only 2/3rds the last three combined, who cares as long as your squeezing that rock as hard as you can. Marketing is now all alt lifestyle types and if you are not one of them. You're not one of them. I guess that's progress as well.
