Pros

The culture is really good. I work with a great group of people and I feel as if I can make suggestions or criticism freely. The St. Pete campus is nice.

Cons

The benefits are definitely lackluster, and that is a generous adjective. The PTO is not competitive, the healthcare option, while in line with what other companies are moving to, is not financially feasible for many families, and the 401k match is a joke, especially for the industry. The company's benefits package does not allow for employees to customize what they want/need. Although the maternity/paternity leave is generous, someone who does not have the need will never benefit. Also, many companies, RJ included, look for people with degrees, yet there are no benefits available for student loan repayment. Lastly, compensation is a touchy topic, especially in my field. It would seem that new people coming into the company make more than those who have been here for a while. The best way to get what you are worth is to change positions.

Pros

Small firm feel and easy to stand out as a high performer.

Cons

The firm is very old school in promotions and growth so they value tenure over performance.
