Pros

Perfect to go from hospitality to corporate

Cons

When I started the turnover was extremely low and that was the main reason I decided to stay. I liked the company view and it was the perfect start after hospitality I noticed shortly there is no appreciation for the hard work and, if you give feedback management dislike, they will hunt you down, looking for any mistake you ever made because you raised a valid concern. If you think of staying and have a problem I cannot stress this enough, do not bother bringing it up. Your daily work life will turn into hell. They will mentally push you until you break down! Extremely toxic work environment! They want the team to be stronger together but management finger point all the time, blaming employees and making fun of them for their physics and way of talking. However once those employees are around they'll make fun of the other ones... Management look the part however sometimes this means they can hardly speak or write English competently enough for the role. Same as some coworker that will back stab and report every behaviour to management without being themselves competent/doing their work duties. This attitude puts pressure on the team working with them as reception will doubt on every movement/actions they take. Pressure is being put on the site team when head office staff come on site (mainly Greg). You will have to drop everything to look good to them, literally. It’s extremely fake and the only way to get a promotion will be to be as fake friendly to them as possible. The management on my particular site was shocking... even after over 10 resignations in a short space of time head office couldn’t care less. Nepotism is common (not referral, nepotism) friends of friends with No actual skills for the job will become assistant manager but internal employee will be turned down and be shown the door if they're not happy. Management is pushing you to post on their internal Facebook (MyRapport) some staff pictures and positive comments about the company. If you don't participate it'll be raised in your review as you not performing your job effectively!

Dear former Rapport Ambassador, Thank you for taking the time to write a review as we appreciate your feedback. We are very disappointed to hear that you had a negative experience and we are sorry that you feel this way. We would like to understand more about what has caused you to feel this way during your time with us as we would like to investigate this further. We kindly ask you to reach out to us via samh@rapportservice.com. At Rapport, we have a multitude channels in which Ambassadors can be recognised for their hard work, individuality and valuable contributions to the company. Our internal Excellence Awards and the WOW! Awards (external recognition program) are just two of the ways in which we encourage our managers to recognise and celebrate their teams and peers. On top of what we do company wide, many individual contracts choose to have their own recognition programs that are dedicated to their teams. There are a lot of different channels through which feedback or concerns can be brought to our attention, in case someone would not feel comfortable to speak to their manager. In this case we are sorry to read that you felt that you could not raise your concerns without repercussion and felt that Glassdoor was the only option for you. Did you consider giving feedback directly to someone from head office? We hope that you were made aware of all our opportunities to give feedback and feel supported. These include our employee assistance program; the feedback page on our intranet (MyRapport); ability to speak to anyone in head office; the employee forum; or during your exit interview. We host regular feedback forums and conduct at least two employee surveys a year so that we can continually improve. Our Ambassadors are the main reason for the success of this company and that is why the wellbeing of our staff is our top priority. We have put a lot of effort into our wellbeing programs and our diversity and inclusion strategy, for which we have recently won the HR in Hospitality award for Excellence in Diversity & Inclusion. You indicated that you worked for Rapport for more than 3 years so it is concerning for us to see what you have written in your review. If you can reach out to us directly, we would very much appreciate this. We take these reviews very seriously but in order to investigate your points raised further we kindly ask for more information. Warm regards, The Rapport People Team

Pros

Job is easy. I liked my planning team. Working at Capital One Campus was amazing

Cons

Constant HR problems. Leadership was always hesitant to act against our hostile work environment. Complaints were not taken seriously. Terrible time off, no flexibility on work from home days. Coworkers would come in sick because we had no option to WFH. Constant policy changes - started out as Hybrid for 2 days a week, every year they added on more days without changing our pay.
