I was hired with the clear expectation that I did not want a call center, with quotas and a script to say. It started great, I could call whatever customers I wanted, and be very comfortable. However, once you have a rejection, or don't make any quick sales, and you ask management for help they feed a script down your throat until you say the same thing everytime.
Management will coach you, try and make you better... until you get a lead on a great account. Then if a senior sales team member wants the account, or if management feels a senior sales member deserves it, they attempt to push you off the account.This is a true sales pit. Very cut throat, and management has their favourites that they feed accounts too.
You can be successful here but it didn't gel with my personality. Just watch your back.
