Pros
Great technical expertise in the staff, driven to execute well. Large company allows everyone to be part of something that can change the world. The benefits and pay are close to the best in industry.
Cons
Top management lacked foresight to position company better in a changing customer environment. While products are still profitable, margins are under pressure and cuts are the order of the day to keep the bottom line looking decent. As more cuts are made, the worse the company position becomes in applying the real changes that need to be made, causing more cuts to be necessary to stay profitable.
