Pros

-Amazing intern events that include surfing lessons, hackathons, Servapalooza, summer on the lawn(QSOL) events, technical talks, laser tagging, carnivals, soccer tournaments, volleyball tournaments, movie nights, and much more -the Campus Team is great and makes the internship really fun -You get to work on ground-breaking projects that will change the future of mobile technology -My team treated me as a valuable member of the team -Got to push code on a weekly basis and my features were being used by other members of my team -Get housed in a fully furnished, luxury apartment with maid service -Live in sunny San Diego where there are tons of things to do during the weekends with your fellow interns

Cons

- Like most tech companies, there is a lack of diversity. For example, the team that I was in did not have one female developer. However, recently, Qualcomm has made efforts to change this by holding conferences for diverse college candidates

Pros

Great benefits, the pay is like okay. Some cool reimbursement programs and health centers on campus

Cons

Career progression and culture varies extremely depending on department. Some parts almost set you up for failure and it's difficult to gain new skills. Lots of qualcomm teams are too scared to explore new technologies and migrate to state of the art services and are comfortable in sticking with old technology for familiarity. Also, HR does nothing if a coworker makes you uncomfortable.
