Pros
Outside of the inept management, the front line employees with whom I interacted were genuinely good people who cared about their work and valued their contributions. This was a positive attribute that made my experience with the company some what bearable.
Cons
Neopost is a company in transition, yet they seem to refuse to acknowledge that reality. Neopost provides postal and back-off solutions to organizations; the swiftly changing nature of electronic communications is rapidly eroding their market position as a supplier of mail room technologies. Neopost has made very shallow, reactionary decisions to try to accommodate the changing marketplace by moving to offer more electronic distribution and tracking systems, yet their efforts at this seem superficial at best. The sales culture rules the organization; customer service and best practice for delivery of technology solutions take a back-seat to the "sale sale sale" mentality, even as the company blindly refuses to acknowledge the reality that a most customer-centric approach would enable cost overrun reductions in project delivery and the recognition of additional revenue from satisfied customers wanting more. Leadership is lacking; management is oppressive and unwilling to listen. I'd avoid this company.
