Technical Account Manager
Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Quadient (Warwick, RI)
InterviewStarted interviewing in June, had a screener and felt it went well. Recruiter said she felt I was a great fit and if the hiring manager wasn’t interested, she had other positions available she could send my resume to. There was no follow up for a month despite me following up, and was told the position was on hold. The position was posted again about 3 weeks later(early August) and interviewed with a manager, I heard back about a week later to interview with the VP of that area. Again, felt it went really. I followed up twice and never heard back. Was really disappointing that there wasn’t any communication surrounding not moving forward.
