Pros

Great work schedule with 4 10hr shifts. Lots of opportunity for overtime. The work is not mentally challenging or physically demanding. The work atmosphere is opposite of most manufacturing facilities. That means it's very casual and relaxed. A big positive is that they are a 2nd chance company. (Hire felons) Also they do not drug test.

Cons

No true leadership of any kind. What leaders they do have are selfish and untrustworthy. No structure or Human Resources of any kind. That leaves employees unprotected and lets management play favorites.

Progressive Plastics Response

This individual was let go after management realized that their qualifications stated on their resume was completely inaccurate. What the individual also neglects to mention is that the tool cart (left here for a month) had expensive company tools locked up in it and after repeated requests to open it, and remove it from company property, the tools were retrieved. Also upon retrieving Progressive Plastic's company tools, it was discovered that there were also tools from the previous company in the tool box as well clearly marked with that company's name on them. It is unfortunate that this individual wants to lash out at an employer with false, horrible accusations, but it happens when some people cannot accept that they are actually the root of the problems that they are dealing with. This individual was continuously late for work, had many personal issues, and simply was not qualified and given many chances to do what they were hired to do. The past company that this person mentions was another plastic injection molding company that was in buisenss for several Decades and employed Many people, had many good benefits, but the perfect bad storm hit when the company's largest customer was bought out by a European company and pulled all of the work inside their own company. Our company worked diligently to replace the lost sales, but after a few years, the company just couldn't survive financially unfortunately. Thank you for bringing up that sad moment in history that you know absolutely nothing about. With all of this said, I do wish this individual well in whatever talent they have to offer some other company, but Progressive Plastics is none of those awful things that this person claims. We employ folks, pay out for benefits, treat people as human beings, help to offer them a place to work and make a living for what really matters (Family outside of work) and we expect them to do their jobs as described while they are here so that the company will not only succeed, but thrive.
