Pros

Nobody gives a damn if you show up in yoga pants, so you can at least be comfortable while dealing with their nonsense.

Cons

This family-owned company makes sure you understand you’re not part of the family. Unless you’re in the family or have done a spectacular job of throwing your coworkers under the proverbial bus in order to elevate yourself, don’t expect to feel seen or heard. Do not expect praise for good work, or really any lukewarm acknowledgment of your contributions. Do not expect management to care for your interest in modern workplace best practices. Like so many other reviewers have commented, do not expect a raise. Expect to do more work than you were hired for. Expect good employees to leave and remaining employees to pick up their work without thanks. Expect to get gut checked for having a mind of your own. Expect to witness bad moods, clueless privilege, and toxic behavior. All that seems to matter is the time you spend in that chair or on your feet in the warehouse. Quantity over quality. You’ll do well to check your feelings at the door so that management can’t crush them, but fight the battles you can and stick by your teammates and your values. They’re worth it, and so are you.

Pros

I enjoy my job here at Pomegranate but what really impressed me and makes me want to work here even more, is how we as a company, bonded through this pandemic to become an even stronger company. The company has shown great leadership during a very scary time and have continued to steer the company in a positive direction with no end to the pandemic in site.

Cons

None really. One could say the location is on the outskirts of Portland but the facilities are very nice which makes up for that. Plus nice views of Mt. Hood.

Pros

Not a stressful job Hybrid schedule (2 days a week remote) Central location Company provided snacks and drinks Two fairly generous bonuses a year Lots of paid holidays and a paid day off for your birthday month

Cons

No growth potential Pay does not align with cost of living Client base is mostly technologically challenged boomers Constant complaints and dramatic correspondence regarding missing puzzle pieces Demanding regional sales reps who treat you like their personal assistant This position is filled by only 2 people- A real drag/burden when one of you are sick or take a vacation Owners are very distant and rarely (if ever) express praise or appreciation
