I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Pomegranate Communications
Interview
Odd and overly lengthy! I had three total. Each interview was LONG with pages of rapid-fire questions. Some felt like a pop quiz assessment others were behavioral but felt intrusive and irrelevant to the job. During the in-person interview, I felt there was a lack of enthusiasm which was disappointing. We ultimately weren't a match.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Would you say your former boss "did a good job?"
What would your former boss say about you/liked best about you/thought you could improve on?
Name a person in your life - who is that person and what would they say is your best quality?
Name a difficult situation you're willing to talk about it and how it changed you/how you handled it.
How would you handle someone who is chronically late to work?
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Pomegranate Communications in Jun 2018
Interview
There was a quick screening call and then I was invited in for an interview which began with the director of technology giving me two pages of tech acronyms to spell out. This was a pretty silly exercise and a big waste of time; more so a masturbatory exercise for this particular employee. The rest of the questions were swiped directly from some monster.com intro to interviews site with a rando "what do you think about swearing?" query. I was given a quick tour of the warehouse but not through any of the offices. The place and people seem stale; did not get the job but and wouldn't want to work there.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Pomegranate Communications (Petaluma, CA)
Interview
The position was listed on Craigslist. They were courteous enough to send a note saying they'd received my cover letter and resume. I was contacted for an interview within 2 days.
I met with the publisher and she put me at ease, asked relevant questions and reviewed my work. Very professional and comfortable.

Question 1
Nothing unexpected. She did tell me that they were a very busy team with a lot of multitasking and little slow time.
