Pre-Rockwell was the best place to work in Michigan, flexible and understanding, yet demanding and challenging, a great balance of rewards and hard work.
Cons
The Rockwell acquisition was super exciting, a culmination of years of hard work to get the value up to such an exciting number. Unfortunately, the M&A team at Rockwell has no clue what they are doing and quickly lost the heart and soul of the employees. I know it's not easy to do, but it felt like they put all their C and D players on the M&A team and told them not to fire anyone because that would look bad for future M&A activity. Instead, they moved us around like pawns into lower positions with zero challenge and zero ability to shine and stand out. The feeling among many is they did that so we would leave on our own. And many did, and still are.
