Pros

I’ve been working at Pinpoint for just over 5 years now and i can honestly say that I love working here. The work culture is good and I have a great, super supportive team. I have regular 1-2-1's with my line manager, who I feel has always been empathetic and genuinely cares about me and my work. We have regular company socials, monthly team lunches where we share recent achievements, projects we've enjoyed working on etc.., also 'Coffee Catch Ups' where we can use company coffee cards to go out and 'catch up' with colleagues or have internal meetings in a different environment outside the office, It’s a nice touch that breaks up the workday and helps build relationships. I've been given many opportunities to grow and learn new skills, and the company is behind me, encouraging me to excel in what i do, which i genuinely feel i have over my time here. Sometimes the work can be intense, with tight deadlines (the joys of agency life!), but there's always discussion beforehand about what’s possible, and what support is needed from other parts of the wider team. And work is very varied, this year for example i’ve worked on everything from still digital social posts to animated explainers, creative AR projects to 3D DOOH and FOOH, so the company is ever expanding and pushing into new areas of creative production, which I love and is exciting to see.

Cons

There’s a lot expected from you in terms of creativity and performance, and the bar is set high for everyone. But this also means you get to push yourself and achieve things you didn’t think possible. The support and resources are there to help you meet these expectations, and it’s a great way to accelerate your career growth.

Pros

- It had a really great Post-Production team when I joined. - Great location and office - Free parking - Monthly free lunch - Good coffee

Cons

- Salary is low for the job and experience needed. - Crunch and unpaid overtime is standard. You get punished if you accurately state how much a project actually took you, and basically encouraged to never ask for the lieu time back. - The culture is extremely toxic, a ran by favouritism. - Managers are downright cruel, lack empathy and accountability. - It can never be a group problem, one individual always has to have the blame for everything. - I brought up a lot issues I was having at the time with my manager, but it became very apparent that this was being twisted and ignored when being reported to the owners. - They pretend to care about their employees, but it's very clear you're just a number to them.

We're pleased to hear you appreciated aspects like the post-production team, location, office amenities, and perks like free parking and monthly lunches. These are things we strive to offer as part of making the workplace enjoyable for our team. That said, we’re deeply concerned about the issues you’ve raised. Employee well-being is important to us, and it's clear from your comments that we fell short in your experience. We regret that your experience didn’t reflect the positive environment we strive to create, and we’re committed to making meaningful changes. If you’re open to it, we’d appreciate the opportunity to learn more further to your exit interview about your specific concerns to inform these improvements.
