Pros
- Like every post has said ( sad that the February 5th post is no longer here- hats off to that person- immaculate writing) they do have decent benefits- IE: decent PTO, 401k contributions, discounts on cosmetic brands. I guess I can also say the people that I met here that were not grifters? Yeah that’s a pro too!
Cons
So since the “Lisa is smiling to your face while running the company to the ground” post is down- I just want to reiterate that point. THAT HOLDS TRUE. She is by far the most micromanaging CEO that I have ever seen in medical sales- that should’ve been a red flag, but we all just kept skipping along! The blatant disregard that they have for employees mental health is VERY clear- they have unrealistic call volumes with unrealistic territory sizes. BUT IF YOU HAVE TO GO OUT OF STATE- you better like driving because no staying in the hotel for you! They hoodwink people during interview processes and then act surprised when they complain or they don’t want the job. When people apply for the Chicago position- they shouldn't get it dropped in their lap that they have 3 other states all of a sudden. I don’t know but it’s funny to me that you have only TWO REPS for TEXAS- a MASSIVE state. At the end of the day- you don’t care about the quality of the call, all leadership cares about is how many samples we can drop at once. I do find it funny that continuously low performers were continually praised- one in the Midwest who was sitting at home lying about their performance- yet those who were actually out busting their butts got reamed out because we weren’t doing enough. How about if you want delivery drivers- PF just does what every other Derm company does and just ship samples to offices- because in a day that’s all we had time for. Not to mention that it seems like senior leadership has nothing better to do with their time than to read notes and accuse people of “making up calls”- how do you expect your reps to build sample carriers in the field, follow their routing, have meaningful conversations with offices, take notes and then do it all again for each account and then also make sure that they are taking comprehensive notes and submitting them right there and right then when you get that providers signature? They don’t pay enough here for that kind of stress. It is just skincare- calm down and like take a breath. Have more realistic expectations of a salesforce that just hit a year.. Pharma and Med device dont have these expectations with notes- it’s actually frowned upon!!! Your AWRs aren’t going to be hitting above 10% for offices even if every doctor put our products because if I was them, I WOULDNT FILL IT OUT EITHER! But that’s what a reps paycheck is tied to- and retail numbers.. Either way- if you can handle being miserable and being a glorified FEDEX driver- have fun! The beauty of the brand is being VASTLY overshadowed by the horrid morale in this company. I got more wrinkles from this job then I did from any other job. Everyone that knows what the company is doing has been smart and has hit the road- those who are left… they are hanging on by the shred of a C+ restore molecule. But I don’t know if there is enough Avène thermal spring water to restore this workforce’s ”natural hydration”without a major overhaul of leadership.
