Pros

Very good work/life balance. It is possible to work from home and to negotiate time with the line manager. If you work in R&D there are many chances to travel, which makes the job more interesting and less monotonic. A good place to start a career and accumulate knowledge in preparation for the next steps.

Cons

Litigious management, taking care more of its own growth than the one of the company. Highly political; impossible to develop a career unless the employee has more than good relation with the boss (assuming the fact that the boss matters within the organization). Politics seems to matter more than competence. Projects suffer from that, and ultimately also products.

Great company with great work environment. Work quality of life is excellent. Good benefits and good vacation time.

Cons

Lots of change based on changing times. Your way of working will change somewhat at least every couple of years.

Pros

The people in non- upper management roles that work there are fantastic. Great sense of community onsite and the culture champions are consistently looking for ways to make work life better.

Cons

Very poor communication on the strategy for the business unit. Leadership publicly promotes innovation and new ideas to be presented but then those ideas are shot down or penalized in private by current upper management. The business unit leadership says that don't want excuses for project delays but will then decide to do 3 major layoffs in the first two quarters with no transition plan, no support for gap in resources and no expectations to delayed progress.
