Pros

Awesome, live-saving product. Smart talent. Average benefits. Modern, open-minded policies about working remote and flex time in most departments. Big site with amenities like cafeteria, gym, play field, and various on-site services. Opportunities to move around the company.

Cons

This business unit seems to continue to struggle, getting bogged down in inefficiencies related to QMS maintenance and chronic under-staffing. This gets in the way of true success in product development, delivery and the revenue potential that's there to be captured in this market. Working there is like swimming on molasses... Progress and change are very slow. Compensation is below industry average.

In a lot of cases a decision might influence a lot of bodies within our company, therefore it might look like everything is in order from one branch, but other branches still have to look at certain aspect. Pros

The people in non- upper management roles that work there are fantastic. Great sense of community onsite and the culture champions are consistently looking for ways to make work life better.

Cons

Very poor communication on the strategy for the business unit. Leadership publicly promotes innovation and new ideas to be presented but then those ideas are shot down or penalized in private by current upper management. The business unit leadership says that don't want excuses for project delays but will then decide to do 3 major layoffs in the first two quarters with no transition plan, no support for gap in resources and no expectations to delayed progress.
