Compensation is lower than peers, LT and senior executives are severely out of touch with R&D and how to invest money/expertise into strategy, silo culture with internal competition, colleagues steal credit for each other's work to stay relevant, LT changes pipeline focus too quickly to benefit from R&D investments, and people experience/HR cultural programs are in opposition to the "science will win" and me, me, me culture of the senior leaders.
